# Position: LLVM Developer (WebAssembly focus)

Igalia (https://www.igalia.com) is looking to hire a developer for its
compilers team. Our team focuses on WebAssembly, JavaScript,
contributing to LLVM and Browser engines. As a programmer joining the
group, you will have the chance to improve technologies used by millions
developers and over one billion end-users throughout the world. 

## Job position description

This position is focused on improving the support of WebAssembly in the
LLVM toolchain. This includes, but is not limited to implementing new
WebAssembly proposals in LLVM, improving code generation, and writing
conformance tests. 

We welcome everyone with experience in Clang/LLVM development to apply,
especially those with an interest in dynamic or functional programming
languages or web technologies. Past experience in systems programming
such as compilers, operating systems, embedded development or web
browser internals is a plus, but there are many valid starting points.

Be sure to mention any experience you might have with compilers or
programming languages.
