That sounds reasonable to me. I would wait until this PR (and https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/165406) are merged. Last I checked https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/165406 was close to getting merged. I will make the appropriate changes to this PR once that happens and we can check what cases are left then to open an issue.
