I'm around - if there are problems, I'm fine to revert. I and @tim-day-387 have been testing on the kernel, and that looks good. A blind spot may be other projects not covered by CI.
@tim-day-387, if you can please also retest this PR and eventual Clang 23-rc2 with your various in-flight Linux kernel patch series that rely on this being fixed. Thanks!
