Ignoring review comments violates [LLVM policies](https://llvm.org/docs/CodeReview.html#lgtm-how-a-patch-is-accepted).

Standard practice is to ping once a week and wait for an explicit LGTM. You can't land a non-trivial patch like this without proper approval no matter how frustrating it is to have it in review for a long time.
