Hi,

| If you can't use the correct mail client, or if ARM's email system can't
cope with modern technology, please fill a "critically impaired" bug (as I
have done) against the disclaimer note, which they will have to deal with
it.

| I'm sure the lawyers will agree with you.

Note that by definition I can do the direct work I’m paid to work on because
that involves being physically on-site. The issue is that tasks that are,
depending on your point of view, part of being a good OSS citizen or “pro
bono” like reviewing patches where I’ve suitable experience but which aren’t
directly relevant for any work I’m engaged in is stuff that’s not part of my
work time budget and combined with the multi-time-zone nature of the project
often the only option is to do those at home where I can’t see a way to
configure the webmail system to do this. So there’s various solutions: one
would be that I just don’t do this sort of “good citizen” work any more.
Another avenue I’ll pursue is enquiring within the company if sending emails
from my personal email address is acceptable, although that may raise its
own issues.

Regards,

David
