I don't think you need to do this, since the original G_*BFX node would have undefined result if the offset was out of range. The valid ranges are mentioned here: https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/blob/67be4fe3d5fd986a3149de3806bcf2c92320015e/llvm/include/llvm/Target/GenericOpcodes.td#L1762
