Hi, unfortunately we do not think this patch is appropriate for the last release of the 21.x release because the patch seems to be an ABI change which would be more appropriate we feel for the upcoming 22.x release in about a month. If you feel strongly that this should go into the 21.x release, let us know why and we can reconsider.
