I think that was mostly covered in the early parts of the [Discourse thread](
https://discourse.llvm.org/t/rfc-make-myst-markdown-the-llvm-docs-format-rip-rest/90840/1), but I think those concerns have been addressed by publishing pre-built groff files. I expect rolling release distros like Gentoo (think Arch) will just add a dependency.

It occurs to me that this is release note worthy, so I'll go ahead and add one.

I'm going to go ahead and commit this with the understanding that if we can change our minds again ahead of the next release in January.
