I think this doesn't do what you intended it to do. For example, a list with 3 elements will look like this:
```
[<first> <second>, <third>, ]
```
When you probably wanted something like this:
```
[<first>, <second>, <third>]
```

The first element isn't the one you care about, it's the last one that doesn't need the `", "` appended to the end.
