openembedded-core has carried the scan-view part of this as a downstream patch for years (python is not exposed to our builds, only python3). I have been testing against LLVM 23.1.0 for the  clang/llvm 23 upgrade and can confirm the scan-view change works fine. It would be nice to see this land so we can drop our copy.
