To be absolutely sure I've just cleanly rebuilt llvm with `-DLLVM_ENABLE_EXPENSIVE_CHECKS=ON` and I can confirm that our test suite is hanging/hitting a timeout now. It's slightly more worrying than 'llc -verify-machineinstrs' fails.
