            Bug ID: 46179
           Summary: Failure to convert memmove-like code into memmove
           Product: libraries
           Version: trunk
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P
         Component: Scalar Optimizations
          Assignee: unassignedbugs at nondot.org
          Reporter: gabravier at gmail.com
                CC: llvm-bugs at lists.llvm.org

void g(char*);

void f(char* p, int n)
{
    for (int i = 0; i < n; ++i)
        p[i] = p[i + 1];
    g(p);
}

This can be optimized to using `memmove`. This transformation is done by GCC,
but not by LLVM.
