            Bug ID: 46821
           Summary: Failure to optimize memcpy pattern
           Product: libraries
           Version: trunk
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P
         Component: Scalar Optimizations
          Assignee: unassignedbugs at nondot.org
          Reporter: gabravier at gmail.com
                CC: llvm-bugs at lists.llvm.org

void f(char *restrict p, char *restrict q, size_t n)
{
    while (n-- > 0)
        *p++ = *q++;
}

This can be optimized to `if (n) memcpy(p, q, n);`. This transformation is done
by GCC, but not by LLVM
