            Bug ID: 47144
           Summary: Failure to optimize strcpy+strchr of 0 to stpcpy
           Product: libraries
           Version: trunk
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P
         Component: Scalar Optimizations
          Assignee: unassignedbugs at nondot.org
          Reporter: gabravier at gmail.com
                CC: llvm-bugs at lists.llvm.org

char *f(char *a, const char *b)
{
    strcpy(a, b);
    return strchr(a, '\0');
}

This can be optimized to `return stpcpy(a, b);`. This transformation is done by
GCC, but not by LLVM.
