@durga4github  I don't have access to GPU, so I couldn't run them. Instead, I compiled every `.mlir` test in `mlir/test/Integration/GPU/CUDA/` to PTX with and without this patch, stopping before `mlir-runner`:
- All 40 RUN lines compile without errors.
- The generated PTX is identical before and after.
- The mbarrier Ops only appear in the `sm90/` tests, which target `sm_90`/`sm_90a`, so they pass the new check.

The patch only adds verifier checks and the PTX doesn't change, so the runtime results shouldn't either. If you can run the `sm90/` tests on an H100, that would be a good final check.
