Can you describe more your specific case/errors in detail?

I don't see how the existing handling is wrong. From what I understand, `LLVM_DEFINITIONS` is meant solely to contain definitions that LLVM was built with (hence why it was populated from HandleLLVMOptions). It shouldn't be getting populated from anywhere else.
