i initially thought this would affect a small set of operations but now i realize _anything_ that goes through a full contraction ends up here. `UnrollMultiReductionPattern` already does exactly this for scalar results (added in april https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/188633) before which it was bailing out.
