- Agreed on a single path. One question first: should the recipe move into the linear clause itself, like reductions (linear(@x.linear %x -> %arg0 : !llvm.ptr = %step : i32), with linear block arguments), or stay as a separate private(...) entry paired with the linear item? The first fits "the linear clause should stand on its own" better but is a larger dialect change. Happy to do either.
