it's not reverted, the resolver now only inserts convert_layout (as we agreed based on the discussion on previous PR) , and the cloning happens in the separate rematerializeConversionSources step that runs right after it in the pass, so this test (which only runs the resolver) shows the convert while the cloning for this case is covered by @step_conversion test in the new rematerialize-conversion-sources.mlir.
