While this was on the agenda for our call today, we didn't get a chance to discuss it (notes from today: https://discourse.llvm.org/t/tcdg-tensor-compiler-design-group-meeting-notes-2025-09-17) - we prioritised the _unrolling vs flattening_ topic that was raised earlier. 

We'll get back to this in the next Tensor WG meeting!
