As with [other nominations](https://discourse.llvm.org/t/mlir-project-maintainers/87189/3), this shall be done _after_ this process finishes, so that we can have forward progress. 

This PR is _as is_ and, as Alex points out, has been approved unanimously by the area team after being open for volunteers and having extensive review by a month, strictly following the process encoded in the LLVM project's policies.
