Me? I would modify the first sentence from:

To be:
> Braces are optional around the body of an if, else, or loop statement,

Followed by the rest of the section that describes cases where readability or maintainability would be harmed.
And then be done with it.

For those who don’t like it, is the currently documented policy broken enough to be important to changing?
I assume you wouldn’t recommend a massive rewrite of the codebase, so we’re going to be with this for quite some time.
