LLVM community,

Hello! The LLVM community and the LLVM Developers’ Meeting continues to grow - about a third of attendees to the meetings are attending for the first time. I’m looking for several volunteers to present tutorials for newcomer at the 2019 LLVM Developers’ Meeting <http://llvm.org/devmtg/2019-10/> in San Jose, CA. Specifically, I would love to see presentations on the following topics:

1) An overview of LLVM
2) An overview of Clang
3) How to contribute to LLVM/Clang etc (ie. contributor guide, how to submit a patch, etc)
4) Overview of the LLVM development philosophy (community processes, library based design, etc)
5) Present a "My first X tutorial" such as the updated Kaleidoscope tutorial <http://llvm.org/docs/tutorial/MyFirstLanguageFrontend/>, in talk form.

The advantage of presenting these at the LLVM Developers’ Meeting is that the tutorials will be recorded and available for many newcomers who are not able to attend the event. In addition, we have had repeated requests for more beginner and newcomer talks at the LLVM Developers’ Meetings. Presenting a tutorial on one of the topics above would be a huge impact for so many who want to get involved with LLVM and the many sub-projects.

In addition to the fame and glory that come from presenting at the LLVM Developers’ Meeting and an outpouring of love from your peers in the compiler community, you will be given free admission to the 2019 LLVM Developers’ Meeting (and for any co-presenters). If you need travel assistance, please also reach out and we can see what can be arranged.

If you are interested in participating, please reach out to me,

Thanks!
Tanya Lattner
