[LLVMdev] High Level Close to AST IR

Hi,

If there was a abstraction over the current IR which is more closer to an
representation of a languages's AST using LLVM would be much more
convenient. Also much of the optimisation and low level IR generation from
this level down can be scrutinised and improved by a larger community.

Perhaps this could be something to discuss to see if there is an interest
on this.
