okay.
you're right.
i wanted to pass an instantiated value of type FRRR16_ins but I'm just
passing the template.
I'll have to rethink what I wanted to do there.
What I'm trying to do is to layer all the definitions of the machine
leading up to where it meets with the DAG patterns and trying to avoid
ever typing the same information in two difference places.
