[LLVMdev] Building LLVM on Solaris/Sparc

I'm responding to a thread posted a couple months back, about LLVM failing
to link on Solaris/Sparc machines. The thread had no replies, but I'm
encountering an identical problem building LLVM 2.9; has anyone had any
success building on this platform, and if so, what did you have to do?
