This is gcc crashing. Can you try upgrade / downgrade to a different  
version of gcc?

Also, you can do make VERBOSE=1 to see how it is crashing. You can  
then produce a preprocessed file and submit the report to the gcc  
mailing list. For now, I would suggest you go to Makefile.rules and  
change OPTIMIZE_OPTION from -O3 to -O2. If you are lucky that will  
allow it to get past this crash.
