Help page is for 2.0cvs. If you're using 1.9 you should use
http://llvm.org/releases/1.9/docs/

You can see full set of optimisations performed by llvm-gcc in many
places:
1. findmisopt script
2. Comments in http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=1056
