I'll be creating the release branch for LLVM 1.6 tomorrow morning at
8:00 am Central Time.
After that, I will finish up the LLVM GCC frontend tarballs (they are
already built; just need to install bytecode libraries) and create an
LLVM source tarball. I should have this finished before noon tomorrow.
At that time, I'll need volunteers to help test the tarballs. I need
one person to do PPC, one person to do X86, and maybe one person to do
Sparc.
People maintaining other ports of LLVM will be welcome to try out the
release branch and report any problems; I'll send another email with
instructions on how to do that after I create the release branch tomorrow.
