Sorry to keep hammering on this, but I am trying to understand the underlying issue here. Is this only realistically expected to happen for function calls? I recall greedy split logic being a bit unforgiving wrt emitting restores for ever use but I'm surprised that there is no existing logic for eliding emits for these superfluous restores
