I have shortened the help text and documentation, removed the redundant example, added the option links, and made the wording consistent.

As this change only concerns documentation and help text, and existing tests cover the relevant shared logic, I have removed the tests added by this PR and left the original tests intact. This keeps tests for mixing options, repeating options, and additional output checks outside the scope of this PR.

The extra `--implicit-check-not` checks came from AI-assisted suggestions, and I did not sufficiently review whether they were necessary. That was my oversight. I have removed them along with the added tests.
