In one application I am looking at:

- 2GB `.text` section grew by 17KB
- Without this patch: 447,128 duplicate sections folded into 59,936 canonical sections
- With this patch: 446,984 duplicate sections folded into 59,907 canonical sections

So, we've lost 144 duplicate sections (prior to folding) -- 0.032%.
