Thanks for clarifying. This LGTM.
DEFLATE does not guarantee identical results when compressing data.
In particular, zlib-ng does accept arch-specific optimizations and the usage of accelerators.
In some cases, this may cause small differences in compressed data when compared to Madler's zlib.
This is not a bug in zlib-ng, it's a design decision.

I had not seen this output before because I do not have access to this board.
However, I'm aware that zlib-ng received some optimizations for RISC-V in the past 2 years.

If other reviewers have more questions about zlib-ng, I'd be glad to help find answers.
