@MaskRay – can I please ask you to reply to @teresajohnson's comment: https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/127749#issuecomment-2789902438. @tru has created a distributor that works with his organization's fork of FASTBuild, using the JSON interface. If you prefer the no-backend approach, then the JSON interface from this PR could be merged into that approach.
