The test cases `NotInstrumented...` have a direct relation with this PR. But thank you for the idea. I would like to rewrite all the cases with gtest's Value-Parameterized Tests and to demonstrate that the code is instrumented in all the interesting cases before this PR and then modify the unit test in the PR to demonstrate that in some cases the instrumentation is ignored.
