Actually, it must have come up when I ran tests before posting the patches to the list, since the [initial patch](https://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-commits/attachments/20140307/778b1bf1/attachment-0005.obj) has the same comment. Almost 10 years ago now, so I can't remember if this was the llvm unit tests or the test-suite.

IMO it's a good idea to revisit this!
