8d3ff601a3 <https://reviews.llvm.org/rG8d3ff601a307fa9d18f237903b298bb12b8b64cf> should fix the Darwin build issue and make the Linux unit tests sufficiently lenient. The `%#x` behavior was intentional; the spec is written with it in mind.
