      Hi,

      Turned out my problem was specific to my out-of-tree backend where we
      run MBP both before and after regalloc.

      When we ran it before RA (which isn't done in-tree anywhere as far as
      I
      know) it didn't update PHIs when it changed the CFG and then the
      verifier complained.
