Hi Alexey,

I'm going to back this out, since it turns out it fails (asserts/crashes)
on cases where the one of the "extra values" is also a scalar that
participates in the same vectorization tree. In this case, we'll delete the
scalar after vectorization (since it's not supposed to be used by anything
outside the vectorized region), and leave the add of the extra value with a
dangling reference.

I thought about fixing this in-place, but the best idea I have right now is
to add yet another map that keeps track of all the scalars that participate
in the tree, and query it before deciding whether this is a legitimate
extra value. I'm not sure I'm a fan of that, though, so I'd rather revert
for now.
Another option I see is to not delete these scalars, but this raises a
cost-modeling issue, since we may end up retaining an arbitrary number of
scalar computations alongside the vector version.
