The only reason I abstracted these is because they are different on Apple vs non-Apple platforms. We could do them all, but I don’t think that really adds any value.

Sadly we can’t. If the version min flag is specified on the CXX options it is quite painful to remove it, so we just opt out of iOS. This code is in tree today and opts out of building the simulator sanitizers.
