[patch] Add a few items to the 3.6 release notes.

I took a quick look at the patches in

git log  $(git merge-base master release_35)..$(git merge-base master
release_36)

The attached patch adds a few notes that I found missing. I probably
erred on the side including too much. Just let me know if you think
something is not relevant for the release notes.
