Dimitry, kudos and thanks for your excellent debugging work
involving two quite different toolchains (each of which is
tricky enough) and their interplay.

I hope the LLVM side is going to be addressed for a future
import in the FreeBSD base system.

On the GCC side, shouldn't GCC run this check for any stage?
If you agree, would you mind sharing a summary of your findings
with gcc at gcc.gnu.org?

(I'll be looking into your patches for the FreeBSD ports next.)
