Hi Sean,
No changes in trunk, I just knew better the process myself, and thought I
would explain it a little better. I think I moved the draft I had written
on Linaro's wiki too fast into the official LLVM docs, and it had gone
incomplete. It's now simpler, I think, and should reflect the way it was
supposed to work in the first place.
The -no-checkout was not removed, but moved to make it explicit that you
only need that if you're checking out a specific version (not a release or
candidate), and want to re-use the same source dir you already have. If you
just call the script, it'll check out whatever the release you're trying to
build, which is what you want during releases (thus, why it was removed
from the example), but not what you want during specific SVN build, and why
it moved into a sub-item.
I also removed my page on Linaro's wiki and pointed directly here, so that
I don't need to maintain two identical pages.
cheers,
