I did test the original patch, but it looks pretty different now :-)
so that should be done again.
I will need you to apply, which you could do now (with tweaks to the
debuginfo-test per your comments) or wait for me to get to the
testing and tweaks on Monday.  I need to quit for the day, I've 
caught the same cold everybody else has and my head is about to explode.
