  kcc: I don't see a problem here. Let's define a set of compilers that we "support" for building runtime. When this is fixed, we may set up corresponding buildbots and monitor them. If we "support" old gcc, then it's actually a good thing that your change broke the bot immediately. If we don't - fine, let's document the minimal gcc version and update it on the bots.
