I checked the latest FSF version of config.guess, it lacks the ability  
to detect x86_64 bit on 10.6 as well. I'm happy to submit this patch  
upstream to FSF as well as, but would prefer we apply it to LLVM in  
the meantime.

Since every project that uses config.guess simply copies whatever the  
current version is into their source, I don't think it's too big of a  
deal to make a modification to it.

As for llvm-gcc-4.2, we could apply the patch to it as well.
