            Bug ID: 39642
           Summary: Definition of destructor of vector not generated
           Product: clang
           Version: trunk
          Hardware: PC
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P
         Component: C++
          Assignee: unassignedclangbugs at nondot.org
          Reporter: hiraditya at msn.com
                CC: blitzrakete at gmail.com, dgregor at apple.com,
                    erik.pilkington at gmail.com, llvm-bugs at lists.llvm.org,
                    richard-llvm at metafoo.co.uk

$ cat test.cpp

#include <memory>
#include <vector>

struct CtorMayThrow {

struct IHaveVector {
    std::vector<CtorMayThrow> v;
    CtorMayThrow o;

IHaveVector f() {
    return {
        .v = {
        .o = {},

$ clang++ -S -Oz -o - | grep

        callq   __ZNSt3__16vectorI12CtorMayThrowNS_9allocatorIS1_EEED1Ev

There is a call to "std::__1::vector<CtorMayThrow,
std::__1::allocator<CtorMayThrow> >::~vector()" but no definition. However
there is a definition of the destructor of vector_base

$ grep vector_base test.emptydestr.s
        callq   __ZNKSt3__120__vector_base_commonILb1EE20__throw_length_errorEv
