This was solved by https://reviews.llvm.org/rL258110 for bug 26134, and there
is also a follow-up fix in https://reviews.llvm.org/rL264940 for bug 27129.

Since clang 3.8 is no longer maintained by the LLVM project, you might want to
ask the Ubuntu package maintainers to apply the above patches as workarounds.
