Bug ID: 34956
Summary: -DLLVM_REVERSE_ITERATION:BOOL=ON in stage2 produces
file comparison failures with stage3
Product: new-bugs
Version: trunk
Hardware: Macintosh
OS: MacOS X
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P
Component: new bugs
Assignee: unassignedbugs at nondot.org
Reporter: howarth.mailing.lists at gmail.com
CC: llvm-bugs at lists.llvm.org
When building a stage2 compiler from llvm trunk using
-DLLVM_REVERSE_ITERATION:BOOL=ON and then a stage3 compiler with
-DLLVM_REVERSE_ITERATION:BOOL=OFF, the stage2/stage3 object file comparison
produces many failures.
UNRESOLVED DIFFS (stage2 vs. stage3):

This behavior is very reproducible but only when
-DLLVM_REVERSE_ITERATION:BOOL=ON is involved in the stage2 build.
