The easiest case is when the global function is declared after class in .cpp
file.
Simple example:
#include <iostream>

class Foo {

};

int gfx(int a = 10, long x = 7, float t = 6.f) {
    return a;
}


int main() {
    gf
    return 0;
}

When you change gfx signature - completion is not updated.
